Strictly Come Dancing viewers were full of praise for Taylor Swift as she sang her number one single, Lover.

The star, who has just celebrated her 30th birthday in New York, made an appearance on the show to celebrate the final.

And it seems fans at home were more than impressed, as they flocked to Twitter with nothing but love for the star.

‘Just when I thought this final couldn’t get any better, my queen @taylorswift13 performs! Lover is the perfect song for Strictly! That was stunning,’ one wrote while another added: ‘Taylor Swift on #Strictly is my dream!!!! My two favourite things.’

Someone else said: ‘They got Taylor Swift to perform, they really pulled out all the stops with this final! I’ve loved it a LOT!’
