  1. From what I heard, Taylor’s sleazeball of a CEO, Scott Borchetta, actually forced her into including Martin and Shellback on “Red” when she originally already had country-pop songs ready for the album, which was at one point only going to be produced by her and Nathan Chapman. Apparently, Borchetta disliked the Chapman-Swift produced material so much that he told both of them to scrap everything and start over with Martin and Shellback. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if he had a strong influence on Taylor’s decision to go full blown Pop. What a loser! If that isn’t enough to make one’s blood boil, Borchetta and Swift once fought over releasing “Today is a Fairytale.” Even though the song released, Borchetta handled the situation childishly by not promoting it…..and yet Borchetta claims to let artists do what they want on his label?? If you don’t believe me about how bad Borchetta likes to “influence” his own artists, looks up Justin Moore’s song “I’d Want It To Be Yours”, where Moore not only trashes the song, but also throws the blame on Borchetta for making him release it as well. I want Taylor to succeed, but not by going this route. She should return to her signature country pop sound, even though something tells me that it won’t happen anytime soon.
