Taylor’s New Tour Sponsor Offering Fans Backstage Content, Chance for a Meet-and-Greet

Taylor Swift‘s new tour sponsor wants to get you up close and personal with the pop star. Comcast’s HDTV and Internet services brand Xfinity is on board to sponsor all the U.S. dates on Taylor’s 1989 World Tour, and will offer its customers behind-the-scenes videos from tour rehearsals as well as the opportunity to win prizes including face time with Taylor herself.

Throughout the tour, Xfinity will surprise fans with ticket giveaways and signed merchandise. There will even be a lip sync competition for the chance to attend a meet-and-greet with Taylor. Xfinity customers also will get on-demand access to a collection of movies, TV shows and talk show appearances featuring the singer, as well as to her music videos.

“Taylor Swift is a global superstar and her fans have an unrivaled passion for everything she touches,” said Todd Arata, the VP of brand marketing for Comcast Cable. “And now, Xfinity and Taylor Swift are coming together to bring Taylor fans an experience they can’t get anywhere else.”

Taylor’s U.S. tour kicks off May 20 in Bossier City, Louisiana.

  1. Are the only ways to receive this is through the concert? Like with the lip sync battle, will it be at the venue only or is it through social media?
