How come this video was not released to GAC or CMT first? I thought Taylor was a country artist, or does she want to be pop now? Regardless, this is her most country sounding song since “Mean” and “Ours”!
The video and song were very haunting, the Civil Wars though, nothing special.

For all those who are saying it’s boring and slow, well um, duh, it’s a slow song! It’s meant to be like that, it makes it more haunting I reckon. Also, it would’ve been released on MTV due to it being off the Hunger Games soundtrack. The Hunger Games is very mainstream so it makes sense. This song wasn’t about Taylor as an artist, she was doing the song for a movie franchise which is why it wasn’t released on a country music channel.
Oh and I loved the video by the way, obviously :) The way it was done was just beautiful!<3
