Taylor will be a part of Tim McGraw’s Academy of Country Music special, “ACM Presents: Superstar Summer Night.” The special will be pre taped on April 8th live from the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas and the date when it will be broadcasted on CBS is to be announced. You can purchase tickets for the event on Ticketmaster.com, with all proceeds going to the ACM Lifting Lives charity.
Country superstars Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Taylor Swift and R&B artist Ne-Yo are the first names added to the bill for Tim McGraw’s Academy of Country Music concert special.
The two-hour-long “ACM Presents: Tim McGraw’s Superstar Summer Night” will be taped Monday, April 8, 2013 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, and will be shown at an unspecified later date on the CBS Television Network. All proceeds from ticket sales go to ACM Lifting Lives, the charitable arm of the Academy.
“There’s no better time for live music than in the heat of the summer,” said 15-time ACM winner McGraw in a statement. “Country music is hotter than it has ever been, and with some help from a few friends in other genres too, we’re going to get summer started off right. I’ve been lucky enough to have all these artists join me on tour, and it’ll be fun to get everyone back together to help raise money and bring some attention to Lifting Lives. Not enough people know what good work the organization does, and when I was asked to help put this show together, it was a no-brainer.”

Taylor’s performance on Let’s Dance for Comic Relief will air this Saturday, March 2ndSaturday, March 9th at 7 PM GMT on BBC One! Don’t forget that her appearance on the Graham Norton Show will air on BBC America on Saturday as well at 10 PM EST!
Taylor Swift has shown us that she really loves dancing (as everyone saw at the Grammy Awards), and coming up, she’ll be performing on the popular BBC show ‘Let’s Dance for Comic Relief.’
While Swift won’t be donning her dancing shoes this time, she will be performing with what we know her for: her voice. The ‘Begin Again’ singer is set to appear on the pre-taped show on March 2, according to B98.5, and will be one of the two major music acts on the episode — the other group being A Chorus Line.
On the show, celebrities and media personalities perform famous dance routines, all in the name of charity, and the winner is chosen by audience vote. We already know that Swift is highly involved in many different charities, as she was named the most charitable celebrity of 2012, and we can’t wait to hear what song she’ll perform to help rake the money in.
Who knows, with all of Swift’s involvement in charity work, maybe she’ll be named most charitable celebrity of 2013, too!
