Taylor recently made an appearance on Hamish & Andy’s Gap Year. You can watch it below or on YouTube. She appears around the 2:22 mark and talked about a few things and also sang a made up song called “Chaperone Dads.” It’s pretty funny, so make sure to watch it!

  Taylor to Receive Ultimate Choice Award!
 

Fox has announced that Taylor will receive the Ultimate Choice Award at this year’s Teen Choice Awards! This is a big deal for her, since it’s highest honor the awards show offers. USA Today reports the following:

Taylor Swift will definitely be at the Teen Choice 2011 awards on Sunday, Aug. 7 in Los Angeles. The show will air on Fox at 8 p.m. (live ET on Fox/PT tape-delayed).

Why? She’ll be receiving the Ultimate Choice Award in recognition of her “extraordinary contributions to the entertainment industry.

Fox has also announced that fans will be able to watch the Teen Choice 2011 red carpet and backstage action with a live webcast airing Sunday, Aug. 7 (3:30-5:00 PM PT live/6:30-8:00 PM ET live) online at Teenchoiceawards.com.

Taylor’s “Speak Now… Help Now!” tornado relief benefit has been nominated for a 2011 Do Something Award at VH1.com! We all know that she’s one of the most generous artists out there, she’s a benefactor for many other charities, so let’s make sure she wins the award. Head on over to VH1.com and vote NOW!

Taylor Swift’s Speak Now Tour to Benefit Tornado Victims

By selling tickets to her final rehearsal of her “Speak Now” tour in Nashville, Tennessee Taylor raised over $750,000 for the victims of the tornados that devastated the United States southeast region.
