  Daily Mail Article + Photoshoot!

The Daily Mail put up a new article about Taylor on their website. It’s pretty long but very interesting, so be sure to read it. They also included a brand new photoshoot of Taylor which was taken by photographer Joseph Anthony Baker, who also took pictures for her “Fearless” and “Speak Now” album booklets. She looks insanely gorgeous in these shots, so click on the thumbnails below to view them in the gallery!

Precocious musical talent, model good looks, multimillionaire status – 20-year-old country-pop star Taylor Swift leads a charmed life. But, as she tells Louette Harding, it’s the rejection and heartbreak she pours into her songs that have driven her to succeed…

Earlier this year, Taylor Swift used some of the estimated $50 million she earned by the age of 20 to buy herself a three-bedroom condominium in Nashville, and over the months she has put her stamp on it. ‘There is this fish pond like a moat around the central fireplace,’ she says. ‘The chimney rises to the ceiling like a tower and on one side of it is a spiral staircase going to a landing/conservatory in the shape of a birdcage. I sit in there all the time – it’s so fun.’ As a little girl, did she like fairy tales by any chance? ‘I was in love with the idea of fairy tales. My bedroom has a balcony that overlooks the living area, Juliet-style,’ she adds. ‘Pretty shameless.’

More Allure Pictures + Fearless Tour Won Best Package Award!

We just uploaded 3 new pictures of Taylor on the set of her Allure magazine photoshoot. Be sure to check them out in the gallery. The magazine will be available in stores on November 23rd.

Also, we want to congratulate Taylor again because she won the Best Package award for her “Fearless Tour” at the 2010 Billboard Touring Awards yesterday! :) You can read the press release here below:

Taylor Swift’s Fearless Tour with Kellie Pickler and Gloriana won in the best package category at the Billboard Touring Awards ceremony held Thursday (Nov. 4) in New York City. The best package designation recognizes multi-artist tours. U2’s 360 tour netted the band wins in the top tour and top draw categories based on global box office numbers reported from Oct. 1, 2009 through Sept. 30, 2010. Lady Gaga took home the breakthrough prize and the concert marketing and promotion award. Other winners included AC/DC, who won the top boxscore award for three sold-out shows at ANZ Stadium in Sydney, Australia.

Taylor Sets New Billboard Hot 100 Record

Taylor has set a new record by having 11 songs from her new album “Speak Now” in the Billboard Hot 100 chart at the same time. She’s also the only female artist ever to have that many songs on the chart. Congrats to her and all the fans who bought the songs on iTunes!

Not only did news break that Taylor Swift’s Speak Now sold $1 million its first week of release; today she broke another record.

According to Entertainment Weekly the latest Billboard Hot 100 Chart features all 11 songs from Speak Now.

Taylor Swift is the only female artist to have that many songs on the chart at one time. American Idol winner David Cook has had 11 songs on the charts shortly after winning the title in 2008, and The Beatles have had 12 on the charts for two weeks in April 1964 and 14 later that month.

But what makes these artists feats different is the songs off The Beatles albums were from different projects, and Cook’s singles were individually released. Taylor Swift is the first artist to have that many charting singles from one single album.

What makes this achievement even more special is she is the only artist to reach this billboard success who wrote all the songs that top the list. David Cook didn’t write his Idol songs and some songs that were on the charts, The Beatles covered them so they weren’t their originals.

  Visiting Wichita Radio Stations

Taylor stopped by some radio stations in Wichita, Kansas yesterday to talk about her new album “Speak Now”. We added 17 pictures to our gallery and you can listen to the interview here on kfdi.com. There’s also an article about this which you can read here below.

WICHITA — Country star Taylor Swift made a brief stop in Wichita this afternoon, surprising staff members at radio stations KFDI-FM 101.3 and KZSN-FM 102.1, where she granted interviews about her just-released third album, “Speak Now.”

Only a few top executives at both stations knew about the visits in advance. Managers for Swift, whose album sold more than 1 million copies in the first week it was released, asked that it be kept secret.

Swift, who appeared live on TV’s “Dancing With the Stars” on Tuesday night, took a private plane from Los Angeles to Wichita this morning. She did the interviews, then immediately boarded the plane to head for Toronto.

At KFDI, where Swift stopped first, employees were surprised to see the 20-year-old star in the building.

Disc jockey Carol Hughes interviewed her about her album on the air from about 1:50 to 2:40 p.m., said Beverlee Brannigan, operations manager for Journal Broadcast Group.
